What is K-Laser?
K-Laser is an FDA cleared therapeutic treatment that manages pain and inflammation while accelerating tissue regeneration.
How Does it Works?
Laser energy increases circulation, drawing water, oxygen, and nutrients to the damaged area. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness and pain.
Why we use the Laser?
We’ve added K-Laser therapy to our practice,because we want to provide an effective and safe treatment option for our patients to heal quickly, recover fully, and reduce pain.
How Long do the treatments take?
The typical treatment takes 4 to 8 minutes, depending on the size of the area being treated.
How Often will my Pet Need Treatments?
For an acute problem it is 3 treatments the first week. 2 treatments the second week, and one treatment the third week. However the Doctor will prescribe the best course of treatment for your pet.
When will My Pet Start Feeling Better?
Some changes may be noticed after the first treatment, but generally around treatment 3.
How Long Will the Effects Last?
When there is a reduction in pain it is general for 24-48 hours. For acute cases once you have finished the treatment series you should be done. For chronic cases therapy made need to be administered on a monthly basis to maintain results.
